ABOUT US.....

We (Chris and Jon) were brought together through a mutual friend and near identical desire to launch a functional mushroom brand with a sustainable ethos.

Chris has been foraging and growing mushrooms for years and Jon lives in a forest garden in Winchester.

We are two dudes who are mad about fungi and believe that the mycelia connections brought us together, destined to become mushroom farmers and create a fungarium.

Our mission is simple. We strive to produce the most sustainable and transparent functional mushroom products on the market.  We will champion a hyper-localised, rural business based on regenerative approaches to land cultivation.

Want to open people's heart and minds to the wonderful powers of functional mushrooms with love and devotion.

Many cultures throughout time have seen mushrooms as both food and medicine. They are high in minerals, B Vitamins and protein. They have so much to offer! Mushrooms are a rich source of vitamins and also have an incredibly high mineral content. Mushrooms have a significant amount of all the B complex vitamins, almost as much as meat!

Some oyster mushrooms contain up to 30% protein and so are an excellent source of high quality protein. This makes mushrooms a valuable addition to the diet. The protein in mushrooms contain all nine essential amino acids.

Mushrooms have the highest dietary fibre content of any food on a dry-weight basis. Mushrooms support good gut microbes! Scientists are discovering just how important the presence of certain beneficial microbial species is for overall health, mood, immunity and even longevity.1

Mushrooms like shiitake contain up to 35% total dietary fibre and reishi contain up to 85%!
